How not to talk about Bordeaux Families without mentioning 1934, the year when it all started ...

At that time, to deal with a period of crisis, 126 winegrowers united to create a cellar in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyard. This passionate commitment, made almost a century ago, now represents a union of 300 families of winegrowers (grouping of the Louis Vallon cellars and Sauveterre-Blasimon-Espiet). For this reason, they have chosen to rename the company "Bordeaux Families".

Today, with the regrouping of Louis Vallon and Sauveterre-Blasimon-Espiet Caves, the Union has 300 families who recognize themselves, above all, as such.

We have preserved our traditions and our ancestral know-how as the most precious of the inheritances.

The mission of Bordeaux Families is simple and complete: producing and raising vineyard wines with cellars, and marketing these wines.

A land among the most beautiful lands
Our vines are in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyard, nestled between the right bank of the Garonne, to the south, and the left bank of the Dordogne, to the north.

Building on this rooting, it is the reign of Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle, grape varieties mainly entering the composition of our dry or sweet white wines typical of our beautiful region.

The Merlot and the Cabernet-Sauvignon are, here, mainly associated to compose our reds in order to offer high quality wines.

We opened up to the rest of the world to pride with pride our wines and the region that produces them.
