This formula takes its name from the famous white pearl of the North, the chicon also called chicory.
But in our case, she is scented in a subtle way with roasted chicory juice, hence the name "black pearl" which gives it notes of caramel. THE Kombucha the black pearl of organic kombustache 0.0% without alcohol is round in the mouth and a little deeper.

The black pearl with her dark dress, recalls the origins of one of her ingredients, namely the chicory (Intybus Cichorium) which is a food and medicinal plant known since Antiquity. It grows mainly in the Nord Pas de Calais. The root is therefore cut, then cut into small pieces, then dried, and finally roasted like coffee. The roasting gives it a very intense caramelized hazelnut taste. It is rich in fiber, minerals and antioxidants, without caffeine. It improves digestion.

In Brittany, his grandfathers Jean and Joseph, and his father Albert have always collected apples. Cider from the fermentation of apple juice was part of their know-how.
After an intense industrial life, Michel, our master-brewer, wanted to work on his own fermented drink based on tea and to enhance it with local ingredients.

The idea was to find friendly moments to share together, around a healthy drink.

During his numerous trips abroad, our master-brewer tasted kombucha (fermented tea). The idea of ​​this drink sprouted.

He started, in his kitchen, to test this magic fermentation by improving this elixir day after day. After a few years of practice, he obtained the balance sought with 3 recipes tested and approved by the whole family.

It was necessary to baptize this unique drink with a name recalling its origins. After numerous family debates, the contraction of Kombucha and Mustache words (in reference to his master-brewer) appeared to be obvious, and gave birth to the Kombustache brand.

Its acronym symbolizes a mustache represented by two tea leaves.
