Our story begins in December 2012.

During a weekend in Houffalize with friends from Wenduine, we had the idea of ​​launching a beer directly related to our seaside resort. The idea turned into a first blond beer called "8410". The choice of name refers to the old Wenduine postal code, which became 8420 after the 1977 merger with Klemskerke and Vlissegem to form Haan. The grandfather of Nicolas Honorez (co -founder and business manager), Albert Tilmans (1914 - 2001), was also the last bourgmestre of Wenduine Independent (1971 - 1976).

The launch of the "8410", at the end of December 2013, was an immediate success in Wenduine and also also in neighboring municipalities.

Due to growing demand outside of our "comfort zone", we changed a name for "Coast 8410" in April 2017, as well as a new maritime business identity. With 'Coast 8410', our beer was quickly on sale throughout the coast, from Knokke to De Panne. Finally, we chose to further simplify the name in "coast" with the base line "founded in Wenduine". In March 2021, COAST 7 and COAST 8 were launched, with new clear labels, and our beers were gustain.

Coast beer recipes have been developed by Nicolas Honorez, who has followed an artisanal brewing course for this purpose. The courses were given by the engineer brewer Hildegard Van Ostaden. The first '8410' was broken personally in the microbrewery of Hildegard in Ruiselede. Meanwhile, Coast beers have been brewed with expertise for several years at the Anders Brasserie! In Halen, in Limburg. Hops and first choice malts guarantee the perfect execution of Wenbrew recipes.

The Wenbrew team consists of Brecht Devos (commercial representative), Nicolas Honorez, Gregory Lams and Filip Degroote.
